Andris R. Golde, MD FACS

Dr. Andris Golde earned his medical degree in 1988 from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He completed an internship at the University of Ottawa, followed by training in general surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine. He then graduated in 1994 from the Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery residency program at the University of Toronto. He has previously served as a lecturer in both the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Toronto and the Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine, as well as having been a clinical instructor at Emory University. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Augusta University/University of Georgia Partnership
Dr. Golde is board certified in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery by both the American Board of Otolaryngology and the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons. Dr. Golde’s scope of practice includes treatment of head and neck tumorsvoice and swallowing problemssalivary gland disordersnasal and sinus diseasesallergysnoring, obstructive sleep apnea, and hearing loss. He performs functional nasal operations, rhinoplasty, endoscopic sinus surgeries including in-office balloon Sinuplasty, endoscopic orbital decompression, multi-level airway procedures to treat obstructive sleep apnea, voice restoration surgery including rehabilitation of vocal fold paralysis, surgery of the parotid and submandibular salivary glands, surgery for thyroid and parathyroid disorders, and surgical management of head and neck cancers including trans oral robotic surgery (TORS). He is also one of the few physicians in Georgia that treats spasmodic dysphonia using laryngeal Botox injections. Dr Golde has won numerous awards since 2007 for clinical excellence in Otolaryngology from multiple patient and peer-review organizations including Patient’s Choice Award, America’s Top Physician, Best Doctors in America, and Castle Connolly Top Doctor.
