Allergic and non allergic rhinitis may cause all of the typical symptoms listed above, plus the nasal swelling can lead to nasal obstruction, mouth breathing, snoring, poor sleep quality, non refreshing sleep, insomnia, and sleep apnea. Patient with allergies may not be refreshed in the morning and will frequently be tired during the day. In addition, untreated or poorly treated allergic and non allergic rhinitis can lead to sinus infections by causing the nasal lining to block the sinuses.
