Upcoming or Ongoing Research Studies

Tongue Suspension for Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome. We are now recruiting patients to enroll in a clinical study of a new surgical procedure to hold the tongue forward. This new procedures is intended to prevent the airway collapse that leads to sleep apnea. Eligible candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 60 and must have documented moderate to severe sleep apnea. Patients will be evaluated in the office to determine if other eligibility requirements are met. Mickelson SA, Golde AR.
Study to run 1/1/2007-7/1/2008.
